You pay for DANCE LESSONS not for the hrs we take to stone costumes or create headpieces, you don’t pay us for a wknd away from our fam while at comp. Instead of complaining you should humbly say thank you to your SO & teachers for the extras they do just to see YOUR kid shine.

Teachers: if you aren’t offering your classes depth and inspiration, and if youre putting routines on stage yr after yr looking same ol same ol... dont be mad when you’ve been replaced. It’s all about SUBSTANCE

Everyday I ask myself if I can keep doing this. Is it worth the hit sacrifices. I think we all need to ask ourselves this often, otherwise we end up way off course

@StudioOwnerProb Well at least they gave it 3 years. The studio down the street from my kid’s copies our studio the next year. ☕️☕️

Neighbor studio just posted a “sneak peak” of their routines for our founders day fair. So kind of them to reignite the flame that was my 2015 junior groups 😂👌🏼 maybe I should reteach to my kids and it can be all bring it on #brrrritscoldinhere

@StudioOwnerProb DO IT. I cannot stand the plagiarized dances crap. That is NOT okay. People need to learn how to create original dances and STOP COPYING

@StudioOwnerProb Hard. So hard not to judge. But we’ve all been there. 15/16 is old enough to take it by the reign and gitterdone. What chaps me are the kids who’d do anything for that private but can never afford it.

No shows for Saturday privates makes me want to cringe. Whether it’s paid for or not that’s time away from my family, and when you’re complaining of others progress I’ll remind you that your priorities were else where in the fall 😡

This holiday season maybe instead of seeing Disney’s Nutcracker in theaters, support local talent and businesses and see a live performance from a local company.

@OhanaTribe That case is also awful, I’ve had great dancers who have parents with no clue.

@StudioOwnerProb How old ish is the kid? Sad when the kid has it together but the parent they depend on flakes. Either way, your time is to be valued. Sorry they stood you up.

TEACHERS I know you have personal relationships with some families outside the studio but you have other students too It is important to recognize dancers for more than ur personal relationships. BG has getting more feedback this yr positive and corrections and shes over the moon

Got my first hate message. “My mom and I don’t like you.” From a complete stranger. Does that mean I’m legit now? 💁🏼 Or no.

@thebustedtoe Love that! Sounds like my neighbors, 95% of their studio are the negative Nelly’s from mine.

That moment when you watch the new promo video for the new “cool” studio in the area... and you’ve taught every single child everything they know. Glad to see you using what I taught to promote a different studio. Always feels great to see who left me 🖕🏼

@thebustedtoe Know what your minimum is; how many dancers can you have on team and still make it by/earn. Let the rest go. It will be the BIGGEST weight off your shoulders and your newest teammates will know and learn what the positive way to act is!

Alrighttttt friends. It’s only day 2 back at the studio, and I’ve already managed to get into 3 screaming matches with dance moms (them screaming at me, while I stand there contemplating how fast they’ll call the police if I hit them...) 🙄

I’m a mom too. I totally get not wanting to buy your kid a new pair of tap shoes every 6 months. However, they can’t correctly tap in those clown shoes you sent. Extra room to grow doesn’t work when their heels can’t even stay in the shoe.
