If you put same 500m Naira in Jollof+, you will be getting 108 million Naira instant interest if you lock it for 360 days. Rich people will continue to be rich if they are smart. Real estate rentals cannot pay you 21.6% per annum.
Nnamdi 🦅@_Nsznn

Just invest 500m in treasury bill and be getting 15% (75m) every year for free and your 500m is still yours anytime you want it. The rich keeps getting richer mehn.

Hi Chinuwa, to clarify: 1. You can Safelock more than 100million on Piggyvest. However, you can only create one 100million lock at once per time which means you can have multiple 100m locks. 2: If the duration of the Safelock is less than 365 days, you have the option to receive your interest upfront.

The population of Nigeria above 65 is less than 10%. There is no reason we should not go fully digital. Even the old ones have ATM, we really need to ban cash use above 50k per month tbh. Let every transaction be traceable, you go explain where the millions in your account is coming from.

Most NGX 🇳🇬 investors track profits. Smart investors track returns. Making ₦500,000 on a ₦10m portfolio is a 5% return. Making ₦500,000 on a ₦1m portfolio is a 50% return. Context matters.

But why would a struggling man lock 1M Naira up for 365days just for 20% ROI? Bro that’s just 200,000 Naira after 365days! Is that you don’t have any investment/business in mind? Or you see the 200k as a good profit? Why should I lock my money up for 20% ROI over 365 days?. someone should teach me, I want to learn.

There are 3 types of stock investors on the NGX 🇳🇬 : - Dividend Investors: "Pay me cash." They buy stocks that consistently distribute profits. - Value Investors: "Sell me ₦1 for 50 kobo." They look for undervalued companies. - Growth Investors: "Show me where earnings will be in 10 years." They focus on businesses with strong expansion potential. The best portfolios often combine all three.

18 things every man should do in his 20s and 30s: 1. Learn and master at least 2 different skills. Not necessarily a digital skill. It can be a vocational or digital skill. 2. Build a strong savings habit. Master the art of saving 20-30% of your income no matter how big or small it is. 3. Find a wife and settle down. Don't wait till you get to 40. 4. Have your own voice and speak your truth unapologetically. 5. Avoid fraud completely. Anything to do with dishonesty, avoid it. Make money through legitimate means. 6. Go and receive your father's blessings before you clock 30. If you're already working, take your full salary, present it to your father and kneel down for his blessings. 7. Build genuine connections and relationships with people, men and women. Don't be enemies with everyone. 8. Hold on tight to God. 9. Build your social media presence and guard your accounts well. 10. Learn to say "No" and own it. Don't be a people pleaser. 11. Take your health seriously. Watch what you eat, and build a consistent exercise habit. Your body in your 40s will thank you for what you did in your 20s and 30s. 12. Read consistently. One book a month is enough. The man who reads widely thinks differently from the man who does not. 13. Get out of your comfort zone deliberately. Travel, try new experiences, meet new kinds of people. Comfort is the enemy of growth at that age. 14. Learn how money works. Understand interest, investments, and how wealth is actually built. Financial ignorance is expensive. 15. Mentor someone younger than you. The habit of pouring into others builds character and keeps you grounded. 16. Learn to manage anger and emotions. A man who cannot control himself cannot lead anything or anyone. 17. Get your own place. Even if it is modest, have a space that is entirely yours. Independence sharpens a man. 18. Document your journey. Write, record, or journal. The lessons you are learning right now are worth preserving. Above all, love God.

A good way to see it. Actually ₦3.5M rent that grows at 15% per annum (on average). But yes, investing can be a good way to go. Based on our calculations, a diversified portfolio can return ₦1.7Bn over 15 years. While the house appreciates to around ₦337M over the same period.

@cowrywise So N4,7m/yr rent ? And I pocket N56,4m for investments. If I avg. 15% returns per year that’s compounded to N126,9m in 14 years. Minus an avg rent of N8m across the 15years (taking into account escalations) = N118,9m gained +/ - I buy a better house & quality of life be better

Before you start buying stocks or crypto, you need a solid foundation. If your "ground floor" is shaky, your wealth will never reach the rooftop. Here are 5 non-negotiable to-dos before you start building wealth: 1. The "Starter" Emergency Fund: Aim for 3-6 months of basic bills. This is your "peace of mind" fund so a flat tire or a broken phone doesn't send you back to zero. 2. Track the "Small" Leaks: Check your bank statements. That ₦5k monthly subscription you don’t use, find them and cancel the plan and that money can be diverted to your savings and investment. 3. Automate "Pay Yourself First": Don't save what is left after spending. Save first. Set a standing order to move 20% of your salary to an investment account the moment your alert drops. 4. The 50/30/20 Rule: Keep it simple: • 50% for Needs (Rent, Food, Transport) • 30% for Wants (The soft life) • 20% for Savings & Debt repayment. 5. Kill High-Interest Debt: Pay off the debt with the highest interest rate first (like those "Quick Loan" apps). It saves you the most money in the long run. Build the foundation. Then build the empire. You can get started on your savings and investment journey on getladda.com
