Why have old people started blasting videos on their phone in public places?

The only other issues I would think are some kind of corrupt driver or broken Ethernet port... Both are pretty rare tho. DHCP is just a server, cables won't change that, and messing around with other settings is relatively pointless because it's an automatic system. I have had routers that have gone bad with weird glitches like this. The only way was to reset them, which was only a temp fix. Next step then, use a Linux live CD and see if it gets an IP when running.

Okay internet work your magic, this morning I woke up with my new pc having a no DHCP server found error I’ve had the pc for a week and the Ethernet worked fine - same cable works on the old comp AND the new cable I gave the old comp also doesn’t work on new comp, any ideas?

What kind of statistician uses an LLM for the numbers? Not only is it worse than using Google, it's literally a user error. You are using the wrong tool, do not pass go, give your degree to someone who knows the proper tools. AI is not better at math than math. It's better at words than math.

As a statistician, I keep asking myself how all these AI people are dealing with the massive potential for catastrophic errors in critical analyses, and the answer keeps being they either didn't think about it at all, or they don't care.
