As I said called a few seasons ago (I worked on the system with every PL club), the PL are guiding clubs to remove QR codes and use NFC only (like how you pay contactless in the shop or tube) on iPhones & Android (androids will have a ‘rotating’ aka changing QR code also)

When you go to sleep tonight, the game should still be going on. You won’t see a worse ref than that at any level all season. They’re not bent, they’re just atrocious at their jobs, and VAR has compounded it. Feel like we’ve been sawn off in a game that was there for us to win.

Imagine if the players knew fan groups like @ROTS1882 had spent 5 years lobbying the club to improve this, and before that @LoveTheShirt spent years doing the same to eventually give up.
