Secretary Hegseth just issued a memo directing military installation Commanders to allow service members to request permission to carry privately owned firearms for personal protection on base, with a presumption in favor of approval aligned with state laws. Prior to this, personal firearms were largely restricted on installations outside of official duties, effectively creating gun-free zones for most personnel.

President Trump just posted about AG Pam Bondi: "She will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General."

According to Fox News, Attorney General Pam Bondi has been fired. Deputy AG Todd Blanche will assume the role on an interim basis until President Trump makes a permanent appointment.
