I spent years of my life working on peacebuilding and community cohesion — working with community leaders, footballers, and so many to put aside their differences and come together. I am so proud of Bosnia for truly uniting as one during this WC.

@LazyC31 Bryan, as a veteran I would imagine you’d appreciate the decades of humanitarian & peacebuilding work we have done in the Bosnia — where I worked closely with both US Mil/civ partners. Bosnia is where we learned to love football/soccer and even know some players.

@Feli39587527 My patriotism is not defined by a sports team. I live it by the years of service on behalf of the American people and dedication to giving back. Cheering for a team that I have a strong emotional connection with is no more unpatriotic than the millions that cheered for Phelps.
