About half of the time over the past 15 years the market has been higher by December settlement and about half of the time it has been lower. This is the Average Daily Continuation (ADC) chart for crude oil. What that means is that this chart will always roll to the front month contract with the most volume, which right now is August crude. There is a gap on the chart from when the Iran war originally started at 67.85. Weekly Market Recap is Live! Grains showed some solid rebounds from last week’s selling. Today was option expiration for all July grain options. Cotton had a strong rebound week as well. Cattle continue to hold firm with strong cash trade and good demand. Crude remains extremely volatile on Iran news and finished down hard this week. The S&P continues to show overall strength.
