Once again those 3 yeas were not the only years UConn struggled - there were 12 more. For those reasons UConn is one of the best programs but not *the* best program.

Cracks me up when people say UConn isn’t a blue blood. They are THE BEST program in College Basketball. THAT’S NOT A BLUE BLOOD ??????

@NotRolandofGil I am making assumptions about a team that runs what everyone in college basketball agrees is a unique offense and the ability of coaching staffs to quickly prepare teams. It's not hyperbole to suggest the staff that has won 2 national titles in the last 3 years has an advantage

@NYMikeMetcalf @theblockspot 17 is close enough to 20 and 15 losses is not good either! Duke and Kansas would not sit through 15 years of bad teams for 6 chips. Especially since Duke won three chips in that time….alomg with final 4s - elite 8s. In last 25 yeas, Duke had three 10+ loss seasons.

But to say youbare the “best” program - you cannot have FIFTEEN 10+ loss seasons the lat quarter century and just focus on the years you like. Have to sustain excellence throughout - year-in & year-out.

This I’m injured for everybody else but healthy just to play #sjubb phenomenon needs to be studied.
