Personal experience, when my mom died a few years back everyone who knew me kept blowing up my phone about their condolences. She was an evil person, but they didn't know that. It wasn't their fault. It hurt a lot, however all I needed was time to think before I spoke to them.

For them everything feels like being beaten in the face 100X, even if you do not mean to. Let them know they are loved, take a step back, let them come to you when they are ready to speak.

Relationship advice again. Taking a step back isn't the same as giving up or vanishing. Some people are stressed and already feeling complex emotions ot thinking about many things at once.

Fuck whatever anybody says, Season 2 of the live action One Piece is good. The cartoonishly ridiculous effects made it so much more enjoyable and loyal to the source material.
