@colebrax Is it a straight drama? Stewart is one of the actors I’d watch in anything.

@ThatSJSaunders If you didn't know Wilder directed it you might assume it was made any of his peers in the Fifties. That said, Jimmy Stewart gives it his all.

But I'm planning to do a 75th anniversary video for 'Ace in the Hole' in a few weeks and at the end of it I want to rank my Top 10 favorites of his career.

David Lean’s peak is untouchable: The Bridge on the River Kwai, Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago. Epic filmmaking at its finest.

Which director made the best '3 movies in a row' in your opinion?

@colebrax @UlteriousFilm Interesting. He can be very animated! I saw The Front Page as a random late night TV watch as a teen and thought it was hilarious, but hadn’t seen the classic originals at that point. Started Irma La Douce the other night and struggled a bit.

@ThatSJSaunders @UlteriousFilm Postponing it as long as I can. Big fan of the original from the Thirties and totally obsessed with His Girl Friday. I've learned over the last few days that watching too many Jack Lemmon performances in a row can backfire.
