@goldstone_tony @HeldinEU @nhs_pensions But it might make sense atk wait a year for the recent pay increase of 8% to be ‘baked in’ to final salary calculation. which is ‘best of three’ last years. You’d have to live 12 years after retirement to see the gains, though!

@HeldinEU @nhs_pensions You are in the minority that know it. Thats the point. There might be a reaosnable expectation its uplifted due to late returement, the opposite of it being reduced for early retirement

Very worrying result (was even worse on FB poll I did) showing the overwhelming majority of members don’t understand what they forgo by not retiring at normal pension age. The crucial question is what are @nhs_pensions doing to let these members know?

1/2 POLL: Did you already know that 1995 scheme pension payments are NOT be backdated if taken beyond normal pension age (60 for most, 55 for "MHO status')? Put another way, every day you work beyond your NPA age, you give up that pension you paid for back to the government

What’s different between patients with bloating & normal controls? Fernando Azpiroz, Hspital Val d’Hebron @DDWMeeting Not amount of gas, or biomass. It’s sensitivity to distension. Perceived distension can be obesity, or descent of diaphragm (abdominophrenic dyssynergia)

However, 40% of patients do not respond adequately to UDCA. Pruritus can be exacerbated by Obeticholic Acid - which can’t be used with decompensated cirrhosis. Elafibrinor, a PPAR agonist, shows promise and improves pruritus.
