@Oceaniz96 I like having different places and gathering points to run by on the way to a monster on foot, but the scale of the maps makes it seem like it takes a while, even when you know where they are. They seem to be designing the maps with mounts in mind and that feels hard to remove

@Oceaniz96 the issue that im unsure how itll be addressed is the fact that removing mounts would make us need to navigate and walk in these massive maps, which used to be reasonably sized prior, even with the larger cases.

Yeah I replayed some World over this weekend and I don't think I can avoid it any longer: animal mounts were broadly a miss-step for the series imo, the act of traversing these maps is so integral to the precise flavor of MH

@Oceaniz96 We honestly need to ditch the animal mounts because literally nothing matches the feeling I had getting lost in the Ancient Forest before getting chased through the whole thing by an irate Anjanath.
