@TacoBoyJr @Sikanie_Tusk They’re not mentioning type 1 - that’s the problem. If a healthy active adult person shows up in the ER with blood sugars over 300, they should always think type 1 first. Especially because sliding into type 1 one is a definite medical emergency. He could be at the start of DKA.

They didn't mention it being type 1 diabetes in this clip at all. Type 2 can be caused by things and would be the obvious type theyre talking aboht here.
