@TheWovenThreads Basically this, except forget the red wine and double the brandy and don’t forget to deglaze the pan you have cooked the beef in with even more brandy. Did I mention the brandy? Oh, and crème fraîche instead of double cream.

May well have made the best brandy peppercorn sauce known to man. The tragedy is, the world will never know because we’ve eaten it all.

Thoughts and prayers for oor Hamish as he’s being operated on to remove a great big fuck-off lump from his neck today. Tests indicate it is benign, but not in a good place and the vet has warned it will leave a very large wound. *🤞picking him up at 4pm.

With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.

Here is my favourite Celtic Blessing for you all on this beautiful day: May those who love us, love us. And to those who do not love us, May God turn their hearts; And if He cannot turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles, So we may know them by their limping.
