I had 5k worth of York paving stolen from my back garden….cops turned up looked around, asked some questions then said they were closing the case immediately as they don’t look into it unless there’s a pattern….this is all while being in an area with a ridiculous amount of cctv

Left headphones in a shop. Went back 5 minutes later. Gone. Shop got cctv footage of someone taking them. They remember serving the person - who used their bank card - 2 mins later. Police got footage, witness and description yet are saying there’s nothing they can do. Useless.

Opening their Maine Road shows in 1996, “The Swamp Song” stands as a fan favourite instrumental by Oasis. Captured live at Maine Road, the track reflects the band’s swaggering confidence at the height of their mid 90s peak.

Yoshihisa Kishimoto, the legendary Japanese game designer and creator of the Double Dragon and Kunio-kun franchises, has passed away at the age of 64. His son confirmed the news, announcing that Kishimoto died on April 2, 2026.
While Kishimoto is best known as the grandfather of the beat 'em up genre, wrestling fans should know that he also worked on two of the most iconic arcade wrestling games of all time during his time at Technos Japan: WWF Superstars (1989) and WWF WrestleFest (1991).
Both arcade classics are still considered among the greatest wrestling video games ever made. WWF Superstars featured Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Big Boss Man, and others. WWF WrestleFest expanded the roster and added the Royal Rumble mode that became a fan favorite.
Kishimoto's other credits include Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, River City Ransom, Renegade, Super Dodge Ball, China Gate, The Combatribes, and many more. He served as a creative consultant on recent releases including Double Dragon Neon and Double Dragon IV.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

This all seems particularly performative….especially considering some of the things that have been said by various people over the years and they haven’t been banned/kicked out
