A shocking new survey from @George_Barna shows that most American churches are not equipping Christians with a biblical worldview. That explains the moral chaos and rot in our culture. Many American churches are more focused on American Idol worship bands and roasting coffee beans than they are studying God's Word. @ACU_AZ

🚨 WOW! President Trump just posted this letter from Franklin Graham telling Trump that the only way to Heaven is "through the shed blood of Jesus Christ" 🙏🏻 This comes after Trump previously questioned whether he'd make it there "This week you commented to the media that you might not be heaven bound. Maybe you responded in jest, but it is an important issue to know for certain that your soul is secure and will spend eternity in the presence of God. The only One who can save us from Hell is Jesus Christ. You can’t save yourself; I can’t save myself. Good works, prominence, success—none of these get us to Heaven. The only way to Heaven is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. God requires us to turn from our sins and, by faith, believe in our heart that Jesus came to earth, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and God raised Him to life on the third day. If you accept that by faith and invite Him to come into your heart, you ARE heaven bound, I promise you. The Bible says, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9)." 🙏🏻🇺🇸

Farthest ever landing. We landed on a moon of Saturn 1.4 billion km away and most people have no idea. This is actual footage from Titan's surface. The Huygens probe dropped through orange haze for 2.5 hours before touching down on an alien world.

(for it is no better) than the consequences of it in bad behaviour at the moment, & the more serious evils produced by it afterwards, must give pain. George Washington, Letter to John Christian Ehlers, December 23, 1793 5/6

I don't do a lot of threads (and I'm too cheap to pay for X Premium), but I must do a thread with President George Washington on alcohol. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 "I shall not close this letter without exhorting you to refrain from spiritous liquors—they will prove your ruin if you do not. 1/6

Just so we’re clear on what happened: Noelia Castillo Ramos was given the death penalty for being raped, while her rapists roam free. Outcome brought to you by Toxic Empathy, which always prioritizes the plight of the guilty rather than the rights of the innocent.
The AI Robot Guy on X@HousebotGuy

>Be Noelia Castillo Ramos >Your parents love you >They fall on difficult financial times >You are ripped away from them by the government >Your grandmother and mom are crying and begging >They bring 12 police officers to stop any resistance >You are placed in a “teen shelter” full of muslim migrants >You aren’t allowed to leave >The staff treats you like you are worthless >The muslim teens decide to gang r*pe you >You think you will get help >Nobody comes. Nobody listens. >They rape you again, with even more people this time >You try to report it >The women in charge of the shelter are woke liberals >They refuse to report it to avoid making muslim immigrants look bad >They won’t do anything >You try to be happy >You can’t move on >You jump from the 5th story of the building >By the grace of God, you live >You are injured, but you still have hope >The state tells you about the option of euthanasia >You pass it off at first >The trauma keeps replaying in your brain >Still, nobody is helping >You feel hopeless >Spain is falling >You decide to do it because you feel worthless >Your dad fights to keep you alive for years >He loses in two different liberal courts >You are scheduled for euthanasia >The days pass >You do an interview, which is really a desperate cry for help >Still, nobody does >The date gets closer >They keep you isolated so you have no idea there is so much love and support is outside >Your best friend desperately tries to get up to talk to you >She is blocked by doctors who seem to take pleasure in the power they have >The process begins >You are alone and probably pretty scared >You feel like you have no choice >The sedative sets in >The last thing you see is a cold, dark hospital room >The toxin is administered >Your lungs slowly stop working >You die in your sleep >Your abusers still face no consequences >You become a monument to the failure of a state that was supposed to protect you

All of the arguments for euthanasia fail. Even if I agreed that people have some kind of moral right to kill themselves (which I don’t), euthanasia wouldn’t be needed to exercise that “right.” You can already kill yourself. The idea that people need some kind of state sponsored system just to commit suicide is totally incoherent, even on its own terms. And those term are totally deranged because in truth, again, there is no moral right to suicide. But that’s almost a separate question, or at least a question further downstream. When it comes to euthanasia, the first and most immediate question is not whether people have the right to kill themselves, but whether the STATE and the MEDICAL INDUSTRY have the right to kill people. Should doctors be in the business of deliberately killing human beings? Should we have a bureaucracy for suicide? These are the real questions. And even if you (wrongly) think that humans have a moral right to murder themselves, you should still be able to see why doctors and bureaucrats ought to have no role in it.

Just when you think CA couldn’t go further… Asm. Pacheco has authored AB 2563 which redefines “sex discrimination” across 29 state codes. It would become an act of discrimination to deny a 12 year-old a mastectomy or a male rapist access to women’s prison 1st Hearing: April 7

The sad truth is that a great many of the heroes of the church were not heroes in their homes. It doesn't necessarily mean we discount their life's service, but we can learn from their failures. We can hold ourselves and our contemporaries to a higher standard. The longer church history continues, the more accountability we should feel. We have so many good and flawed examples to learn from.

A few often ignored facts about Fanny Crosby: 1) Crosby is her maiden name. 2) She and her husband separated about 22 years before he died. 3) They lived apart so each could pursue their own career. And yet, Fanny is thought to be the Queen of Gospel song writers.
☧ Today in Christian History@HistoricalRook

#OTD March 24, 1820: Fanny Crosby, the prolific blind hymnwriter, is born. Over her lifetime, she penned more than 9,000 hymns, including classics like “Blessed Assurance,” “To God Be the Glory,” “Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior,” and “Rescue the Perishing.”
