I personally wouldn’t “fault” him or even call it a mistake that he had a change of heart over 13 years but feel how you want to feel. Did you not change your mind at any point between the age of 18 and 31 or do you only hold strangers to that standard?

I don't fault him for choosing this path, but I do fault him for lying while going about it. If he was honest, I wouldn't have these feelings.
