Mayor Zohran Mamdani is truly America’s Mayor already. Hate him or love him, he is transparent, pragmatic, visible, relatable, aware, and delivering for New Yorkers on his campaign promises.

Mayor Mamdani is ignoring minority grocery store owners in NYC (the multi-cultural coalition) that are trying to save their grocery stores. This is so incredibly heartbreaking. He is literally destroying their businesses.

55M for a grocery store, and that isn't including operating costs. I really don't know what to say. But I will say this: communism does not work. This store will, for a year or two, put surrounding stores out of business. But eventually, as more and more people are forced to go there (since all the other stores close due to the fact they aren't being subsidized and can't compete with the prices), reality will come home to roost. Shortages will be common. Budget overruns will be the norm. Quality of service and goods will plummet. And there will be no competition to save them. This is the beginning of a horror show for anyone with an IQ above 120 and a general knowledge of economics and history.
