a notable change in this first year is that shift in proportion from CBP border enforcement to ICE. that hasn't been done so aggressively since Obama's mass workplace and neighborhood raids. they're enjoying the spectacle a little more, but ICE was just this brutal back then.

For all of Trump's efforts and spectacle and brutality, he hasn't yet matched 2024's removal stats. Obama is still deporter in chief by a wide margin, but Biden and Harris are still way out in front of this second Trump term's first year.

@TopMarx420 @posting_forever In Canada you register any firearm you own, and you report to the police whenever you transport your gun from your safe to the targeting range, or your hunting site. If the police find you with said weapon outside of your plan, there will be trouble.

@AngryPossum69 @posting_forever lol no absolutely not. it's state by state. in Texas they give you more carry privileges if you have a license but it isn't necessary to carry a long arm or own a firearm in general. you can just go to one of those big warehouse gun shows and buy an assault rifle for cash.
