@DanCalcio Yeh derby win and top 10 finish he’d have earnt it, but can equally then see him not making it til Christmas.

@ToroRob76 Baroni had lost complete control of the situation. If D’Aversa does something truly exceptional in the last games or win the derby, I wouldn’t be against keeping him on.

A convincing win despite not actually playing that well. Two quick fire goals at start of the 2nd half made the difference, and Toro guaranteed to be 8pts clear of bottom 3 by end of the weekend.

@DanCalcio Caveat being that Lazio and Parma have been everything and probably shows how bad a job Baroni was doing. This is a top 10 Serie A job - starting to become slightly concerned D’Aversa may end up keeping the job though.

@ToroRob76 I calculated we needed 3 wins to be safe, but never expected us to already have 2 after the disaster in Genoa. Great job from D’aversa so far he’s stabilised everything
