@Thewolfyguy @SchmarvinHarv @Cartoonhistory2 It was later rectified in 1972 and Henry’s book was republished. Awdry did make a public apology that same year. It’s said that he didn’t want to apologise originally as he thought it was just a common description at the time of writing.

Not unpopular at all but a genuine banger site for CGI models. The team do so well to make and produce these models for free. The attention to detail is crazy and I respect the effort that goes into them. 10/10 Only complain is that Little Barford got taken down. Miss that guy.

I had a dream last night where the TTTE fandom was so starved for content that they found the person who made a very specific sliding glass door prop from the show and went nuts over it. People drew fanart and composed whole themes for what's essentially just a sliding glass door
