@TransitEquitySF

Transit is a life line for TL residents like many others in SF. Transit to all & equitable transit to those who need it the most. I have bad grammar.🚎🚌⛴🚞🚃🚅

Iono, if there are this thing called a "war on cars" then the cars are really on the offensive. All we want is less cars, more transit, & safer streets for active communities & pedestrians. That's not a war to me, it's responsible, reasonable, & rational.
Luke Bornheimer (Streets Forward)@LukeBornheimer

Another SFMTA Muni bus shuttle was destroyed by a car driver, this time on O’Shaughnessy Boulevard near Portola Drive. This is the result of dangerously designed streets and a transportation system that prioritizes cars and driver convenience over people, safety, and the planet.

A BART-commissioned report found that, absent a new funding model, the agency would have to reduce service, with cuts imperiling transit access and the Bay Area’s climate goals. sfexaminer.com/news/transit/b…

San Francisco transit activists are pushing a ballot initiative that would tax profits that Waymo, Uber, Lyft and other “transportation network companies” earn while operating in the city to fund Muni. trib.al/pP7U3PF

We’ve gathered over 17,500 signatures from San Franciscans who want to fund Muni! A big thank you to everyone who helped gather signatures for this measure. We’ve already shown that transit riders have the power to make it to the ballot. We’ll be submitting soon; stay tuned!

Housing policy in the US will be prison for the homeless, market rate housing for people who can afford it,& the rest of us will wait for the trickle down effect of housing development. Transit policy will be: let public transit die to be replaced by private corpo-robocars.
