Building the bat computer has really got me realizing just how rusty with linux I am, so I have been taking my time on overthewire.org/wargames/ practicing with linux almost like I'm a hacker. It's been nice, most of my day is filled with typescript world normally.

Put together a list of all the tech in my apartment and wrote a blog post about what I want to incorporate into the bat computer project (buff.ly/4aPmWLv ). Let me know what you think.

@ThePrimeagen I don't remember the streamer that said it, but one of my favorite phrases I heard while first learning how to code was that "you have to put in the reps."
The sort of repetitive cycle of doing the same exercise over and over until growth happens rings true in my gym bro head

@ThePrimeagen Addendum: eat well, sleep plenty, and love your family deeply.
You'll never be more satisfied with your years than when you do those^

@trunarla I wear shades not because of how cool they make look but because of the light reflecting off my face is brighter than lense flares in a Michael Bay movie

@ThePrimeagen Sounds like the kind of line that'll keep you smiling years down the road

@hussien_coding All of these years I've spent working to be a software engineer, never knew I'd enjoy being an exterminator more 😆

In early 2021, as a bootcamp mentor and startup hiring manager, I noticed a huge gap between people learning to code and people wanting to get their first job.
To bridge this gap, I created a comprehensive course titled "How to Get Your First Coding Job."
After another year of mentoring, gathering valuable feedback, and doing over 100 hours of technical interviews myself at the end of 2021, I decided to create another version of the course with many improvements from the first version.
Since then I've got an amazing feedback on the course itself especially from people like @kb9700 and @TravCodez
I've also shared all my techniques for the countless coffee chats I've had over the past 2 years and got some great feedback there as well
At this point, I'm very confident in the quality of this course. And I'll be raising it from $29 to $49 this Sunday (purchase parity available)
So if you're looking for the culmination of all my expertise from being a developer for over 10 years, a hiring manager for two, bootcamp mentor for three and doing over 100 hours of interviews myself then I think this course will help you
