Respectfully, Scripture does not place the blame for societal collapse on women having a voice. The pattern in the Bible is very clear: when nations fall, it is because men abandon their God-given responsibility to lead righteously, not because women participate. From the beginning, God calls men to lead in humility and sacrifice, not control. “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” (Ephesians 5:25) Christ-centered leadership looks like service, protection, and accountability, not domination. Throughout Scripture, God consistently uses women’s voices in moments of national and spiritual crisis: •Deborah judged Israel and led alongside Barak when men failed to step up (Judges 4–5). •Esther’s voice saved an entire people (Esther 4:14). •Abigail’s discernment prevented bloodshed when a man acted foolishly (1 Samuel 25). •Anna was a prophetess whose testimony pointed directly to Christ (Luke 2:36–38). God never silenced them. He amplified them. Taking away a woman’s voice does not restore order; it ignores biblical realities. What of the widow, whom God repeatedly commands us to protect and listen to? “Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.” (Isaiah 1:17) Are we to say her voice no longer matters if she has no husband? Scripture says the opposite. The real crisis is not women voting. The crisis is that men have traded spiritual leadership for comfort, distraction, consumerism, and passivity. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6) We did not lose our way because women spoke. We lost our way because we pushed God out of our homes, our churches, and our government. Revival has never come through silencing voices. It has always come through repentance, beginning with leadership. “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray…” (2 Chronicles 7:14) Biblically, the answer isn’t removing a woman’s voice. It’s men returning to Christ-centered leadership and a nation returning to God.
