Schedule III is here. But not in the way a lot of people think. The immediate move covers FDA-approved medicines containing the plant and products regulated under state medical licenses. It is not legalization, and everything outside those covered categories is still in Schedule I for now. That’s also why there’s still a hearing on June 29: the broader federal question is still being decided. For licensed medical operators, the big practical shift is tax relief and fewer research barriers. But no, this doesn’t free anyone from prison, expunge records or suddenly make the broader market legal under federal law. So... is this a win? Tell us in the comments

TMZ reported that Lake Havasu Police in Arizona responded to a call about a deceased man in his home. Upon arrival, the police found Sheets with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, where he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
