@stogachess @nnjpolitics Not realistic. Ocean, Cape May, and Salem counties are too red to overcome. Cumberland and Atlantic counties are not blue enough either

@nnjpolitics Dems can win here, Sherrill was facing headwinds (Murphy unpopular, redder for governor than federal) that congressional Ds won't face

The last time the current CD-2 voted for a Dem was in 2017 for Governor, when it voted for Murphy by 0.7. This result was likely a product of Van Drew (as a Democrat) winning LD-1 by 30 and Sweeney winning LD-3 by 17. Although, CD-7 voted Guadagno in '17 then Malinowski in '18

@ZacharyDonnini You are saying that only three states have Hispanic majority districts by voting population? Obviously Texas, California, and Florida would have them, but I am pretty sure that New York and Arizona do as well in addition to New Mexico and New Jersey.

A little Thursday afternoon trivia: Many “majority-Hispanic” districts don’t have a majority of Hispanic voters. That’s because Hispanics are disproportionately (1) under 18, (2) non-citizens, and (3) less likely to vote even when eligible. So here’s the challenge: a) How many districts did my model estimate had a Hispanic majority among actual voters in the 2024 presidential election? b) Which three states were all of those districts located in? c) Which district outside those three states came closest to a Hispanic voter majority?

Democrats are freaking out today because Sandra Kennedy lost a Kamala +16 district by 16 points herself. A 32 point swing. They had planned on winning this in 2026 for many years, running the former Corp Comm chief as their ticket.

You love to see it! Huge L for TPUSA. Huge W for Arizonans who value clean energy, affordable rates, and accountability for data centers. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

There are 3 major demographic groups that have seen the largest and most pronounced swing away from Donald Trump, when comparing 2024 margins to current approval. I'll give you two: Hispanic voters and young voters. What is the third?

Ranked Choice Voting is one of the worst Leftist ideas Republicans have allowed into Red States ever. Utah, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona & Georgia must ban it before the left uses it like it has in Alaska. The following states have already restricted or prohibited RCV after the resolution I wrote at the RNC passed unanimously calling it out for what it really is: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia & Wyoming.

It’s pretty wild that Virginia is going to hit over 500K early votes by the end of this week And there is over 3 weeks left Plus most satellite locations have not yet opened up Could always slow down But much higher turnout than I had been expecting so far

@ReidRevolution Look at this district in North Carolina that’s connected by a thread. If NC can gerrymander their maps, VA should be able to counterbalance them.

People draw maps like THIS for one reason: to unfairly force a win for their own side. You aren’t protecting Democracy when you rig the majority vote to silence the minority. Tell every corrupt politician in Virginia NO! Vote NO!
