Wirtz has 15 G/A so far for Liverpool this season and the club is unbeaten in all of those games he contributed

You would have to think he doesn’t want to sign the contract knowing he’s a fringe starting XI player. If he goes to Inter, Villa, etc he knows he’s starting every game in the position he wants to play. I want him to stay but he might want guaranteed minutes which we can’t give him

Unless Jones is pushing to leave, we should not be sanctioning a move. He can play in midfield and does well at RB, can drop in and out of the XI seamlessly and he's the only Scouser we have left around the first team. He's the perfect squad player. Big mistake to let him go.

🎖️| @FabrizioRomano: There is no agreement with Curtis Jones over a new contract and everything remains on standby. Several clubs are tracking the midfielder and Inter remain keen.

@AnfieldWatch Get him the midfield pieces (Wharton, Camara) and Diomande and I think it’ll all take shape. He won a league so he definitely has some clue what he’s doing

🚨 Liverpool are exploring a SURPRISE move for Randal Kolo Muani this summer as they look for attacking cover following Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury. The French forward is NOT expected to stay at Tottenham, with PSG open to a permanent sale — and the Reds see him as a potential CUT-PRICE option, though he is NOT a top target. 🔴 (Source: Football Insider)

I hear you and you aren’t wrong in certain aspects of what you said. But FSG chose him to be the successor to Jurgen and he won the league. A big reason he has so much credit in the bank is because he won the league. So to say to have an argument without it doesn’t work because it’s a key factor. He’s had a bad season, but so has Jurgen and every manager before him. Arne’s worst season might still be a top 3 finish. While he has had his errors with lineups and tactics, he’s also had brilliant moments and games this season where we can see the style he wants to play. But luck also plays a factor. When we get 20+ shots with 8-10 on target and don’t score but the other teams shoots 5 times with 1 on target and scores that’s not because of the manager. All I’m saying is he has enough credit in the bank to have the support of the supporters until he either turns the ship around or gets the sack

@USRedTalk @lfcthijs Without saying he won the league 13 months ago which if I might add the last 3 months were terrible as far as play goes, does the last 12 months tell you he deserves another shot? It's not like he's not getting paid $7 million a year!

@RBLTalk @AnfieldSector You paid €20m for him. He has a market value now of €75m. I think bonuses would get the total deal to just under €100m which is £87m which is what is being reported.

[🟢] NEW: Liverpool keep tracking Yan Diomande. They have been in attendance with their scouts in the last two games of Leipzig to follow the player. His agency and Leipzig are discussing the possibility to keep the player for one more season, extend his contract and include a release clause to sell in 2027. But Diomande is deciding based on the proposals this summer. [@FabrizioRomano]

Super important to get Heitinga back. Players were very vocal about how important he was in training sessions and helping Arne on the man management side of things as well. GvB has been good to have but seems he’s going back to the Netherlands so Heitinga makes so much sense to bring back to #LFC
Krrish@KrrishFT

🚨 | EXCLUSIVE : JOHN HEITINGA 🇳🇱 Liverpool FC are trying to close an agreement for John Heitinga to return to the club as an assistant coach! 🇳🇱🚨🔴#LFC Arne Slot and Liverpool FC want John Heitinga to be a part of the stuff ahead of the next season, talks have already taken place between Liverpool FC and John Heitinga. 👀🇳🇱 No agreements or done deal yet, but Liverpool FC are working behind the scenes to get John Heitinga back at the club. ⏳️🤝🏻

I think he knows where to play him, but Wirtz has also needed time to adjust to the pace and physicality of the Prem. When Rio is on, we look much better and it also allows Wirtz to roam from either flank because we have a winger that actually holds width. He is not a perfect manager but he is still a top end manager and we need to back him considering he isn't going anywhere

@USRedTalk @danlfcynwa_ Rio is a pact winger and we’ve looked dreadful when he has played other than him showing some flashes of individual brilliance. Slot still doesn’t know where or how to play Wirtz.

Those that say "we need to give Slot a chance" why exactly? What has he shown us over the last 13 months to suggest that we're going somewhere positive? We aren't good at anything. Whether it is going forward or defending. Why should we risk another season? It is nonsense.

@AnfieldSector I don’t think we’ll stand in his way to leave. For Ali, that’s an incredible contract considering his age and injury history. If the bid comes in and we find it acceptable, I think he’ll go.

[🟢] NEW: Juventus made a serious approach to Alisson and his camp over a long-term contract. My understanding is that they would be ready to offer a 2+1 year contract or eventually a three year contract. These two options are being discussed. Alisson would be tempted by the possibility to return to Italy but he doesn’t want to leave Liverpool in a bad way at all. It’s now on Liverpool to decide from now to the end of the season to communicate something with Alisson [@FabrizioRomano]

@pico_the66 A contract extension probably won’t come for Slot this summer but if I’m being honest it might actually help bring in transfer targets. It’s hard to persuade targets to come if they don’t know who will be in charge in 12 months

If Hughes is still running things, I don't see Slot getting sacked. Tbh a pointless contract extension this summer is a scary thought. Really hope I'm wrong about this

Adam Wharton played 5 passes in Liverpool’s final third and 3 of those resulted in chances and 2 in big chances. Specialists are just a different breed in any type of sport and this guy has mastered passing.
