w/o homelessness as an axe hanging over your neck there would be no incentive for slave wages, ppl would instantly see material improvement in quality of life both in service & as consumers… eradicating poverty as the cudgel of capitalism isnt just moral, it’s beneficial to YOU

The Trump-Vance administration dropped a Tomahawk cruise missile on a girls' elementary school that was full of children ages 7-12. Then they lied about it. Then Pete Hegseth prayed for "overwhelming violence" against "those who deserve no mercy," which includes little kids.

One of their first targets was a girls’ elementary school. They’ve since moved on to residential buildings, medical centers, energy infrastructure, and a sports stadium that once hosted a Frank Sinatra concert.

To be very clear here representation doesnt concern me, at least not politically, but artistically? I dont care who they are, white filmmakers consistently drawing the world up as specifically white has almost always been weird and dumb and rotten. Steve McQueen was right to be as repulsed by it as he was. Its not simply placing a non white character in a very white realm, its having the WORLD (wherever it is, what ever time or period it is) feel occupied by more than just "one"
