There was a lot I hadn't considered. But really it was just about seeing it. Not much good has come from it, and some of the best players in the league are getting penalized for being legitimately hurt. I would say lowering it to 55 would be more fair, but it's not like players with < 55 GP are even getting major awards votes. And if they do, they're honestly probably deserving

@UsherNBA How so? Literally nothing has changed over the years and these types of outcomes were incredibly predictable from the second the rule was put into place.

The literal only thing that is changing these people’s minds is them seeing the rule affect their favorite players. Every single one of them cheered the rule being made when they thought it would only affect Joel Embiid.

@Play0ffJames yeah I would say lower it to 50 or 55 but at that point it's kinda pointless bc how many guys with < 50 GP are even getting votes. and if they did, they were probably going so crazy when healthy that they deserve it. like you said, it's always been and gonna be a factor already

@UsherNBA Fair. I always initially thought 65 was fine for awards but for all nba teams it should be less but games played has always been a a factor in awards even without it being a listed requirement
