@Vester_Mane Under 100k twice a year if you qualify is still definitely insane. That plus team contracts can definitely make the game sustainable. Never knew people thought it was $500k. Most I ever heard of was like $200k and that was at its peak.

The Paris Major really sold the entire scene on a lie, still see people who think sticker money will make you a millionaire or something 3 years later when it's been declining ever since

@bronzewillie1 Sure, but when you hear the reports about the Paris capsules and start making promises to your family about money you won't see then you're left with way too many players in the scene who are about to be seriously letdown when they thought qualifying to the major was it

@Vester_Mane tbf $1000 is prob more money than he ever win in tier 2-3 cs, and this is the "first" paycheck, so if you are some rando in lower tier its still worth the effort

a recognition from valve that theyre matching csgo means 2 things
1) theyre listening to online feedback
2) theyre working hard to replicate csgo

Another amazing update to CS2 so quickly. Screen shake while spraying has been dramatically reduced.
You can very clearly feel the difference, it's almost like there's no shaking at all in the new version. This is a great improvement for the feel of spraying. I almost feel sick watching the old version.
When spraying in CS2, players need to be able to feel the recoil, to know where they are in the spray, and to be able to adjust based on the enemy player's movement. I just played a full game with this, and the difference is night and day.
Valve has been cooking like CRAZY lately. This is another of those updates that definitely should have been in the game from the very beginning.

really don't understand why so many people say "b-but most superteams!!" He had a single. 1. Mono. The one with Olof (post wrist surgery btw out of his prime), GuardiaN, rain and NiKo in their primes, TSM wasn't, neither was 2022 FaZe

People want to downplay karrigan overachieving per pieces he's had so here's one cold hard fact: FaZe 2022 is the only #1 team in the history of HLTV Top Team lists to NOT have a single Top 5 player No one on FaZe 2022 was the best in their role that year other than karrigan
