Many believe the government’s #corruption and mismanagement played a role in the disaster. Although the protests have been peaceful, there has been some #violence on the sidelines, showing how serious the demand for change is

👉🏽 Since November, #students in Serbia have led anti-government protests and asked for a system that works, where institutions follow the rule of law. These demonstrations started after the tragic collapse of the Novi Sad train station canopy, which killed 15 people.

This morning, Croatian students have shown solidarity with students from #Serbia with a poster reading 'ONE WORLD ONE FIGHT - ACADEMIC SOLIDARITY' at Voices and held 15 minutes of silence in memory of the victims from #NoviSad. #Voices2025 📌voicesfestival.eu
