I think this series is very hard to project because both teams have been very hard to project all year, whether it’s been the Knicks running hot and cold or the Spurs overcoming youth/inexperience.
I have predicted Knicks in 6 for every series and I won’t stop now:

I know this is extremely dorky of me, but I keep thinking about how members of this Knicks team/era will be greeted by MSG crowds when they pull up to Knicks games in 15-20 years. You see the reactions for ‘90s Knicks now. These guys will all be legends. Chills.

3 reasons this is stupid:
1. You don’t control who you play
2. In two of these years (MIA ‘23 and IND ‘25) the lower seed went to the Finals (and IND almost won)
3. The Knicks have been a top-three seed each of the last three years, so limited chances to play a top 3 seed

The Knicks have faced a top-3 seed in the East just 1/10 series. 2023: CLE (4), MIA (8) 2024: PHI (7), IND (6) 2025: DET (6), BOS (2), IND (4) 2026: ATL (6), PHI (7), CLE (4) The basketball gods really want a Knicks title.
