@GoalsXtra The level and standard of refs is so so poor at the moment. How does he give him a red. Insane decision.. @EFL when are you going to do something about this ??
Everyone at York City Football Club is shocked to learn that Under-16s captain Harry Rowntree has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer, T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.
We are all behind you, Harry!

@snellgrove97 Snelly I dont want to jinx things. My 30th birthday party was ruined by Orient relegating us to conference. I fear come this May my 50th is also going to be ruined 😩😩😩
Except from the Big 6 and Everton, is there a club in the Football League on a longer run without a relegation than us?
Come May that’ll be 20 years since the Orient game (well aware we will probably go down this year).

@lewvine I agree let’s just get on with it. But it appears a bit cheap of the council to say the club should pay for this and that which really is down to the councils funding etc.
@WatlyNeilo I’m not sure of the legalities. I guess the club are desperate to get started now and these are relatively small considerations in the grand scheme of things.

Looks like we’ve committed to over £3m of ancillary services before the first ‘spade’ is in the ground! It’s been a torturous journey but it appears we’re now almost at the start line. A timely boost considering our current struggles in The Championship.
@sgodfrey Mine did as well mate. They used to get a coach from Oxford to the games. My dad usually went when Oxford were away, he’s still got programmes from them, he said it was a joy to watch the likes of Best, Law and Charlton
This world is fucked.. having the likes of @realDonaldTrump and @Keir_Starmer in charge of the US and UK makes me want to say in a C3PO voice “ we’re doomed
… all doomed “
What a shame my words for a footballing hero of mine were entirely misinterpreted. Terry Yorath was a fabulous guy. A warrior. My affection for him meant I was more than happy to help him & his family in any way I could. Gabby’s career would make any father proud. RIP Terry.
