(6/12) Hundreds of BC Building Trades members were in Victoria for their convention earlier this week, but the Conservatives waited until the day after those workers left the city to introduce this bill.

A second Canadian shipyard has spoken out saying domestic firms never had a fair shot at the BC Ferries contract. The arguments against building these ferries in Canada are being exposed for the hollow excuses they always were.

In this photo, crews install rebar to prepare for a concrete pour on the south side of the bridge deck. Now that deck panels are installed, rebar is installed before concrete is poured over top, connecting all deck components.

Crews have completed girder installation for the bridge’s north approach in @New_Westminster! This photo from May shows a barge crane lifting the final girder into place for the north approach. These girders will be connected to the bridge’s main span.
