Revival is messy. It's not entirely just non-stop worship, mass repentance and baptisms, though these are part of that. In the OT and NT, revivals included tearing down idols, changing governments and purging unholy alliances. Exactly what we are seeing now.

Today is the official day to pray for the prophets: 1. Ask God that their revelation be clear and only exactly what God is saying. 2. Pray for protection from evil for them and for their families. In Jesus Name! Amen

The goal of the Gospel is not to affirm you, celebrate you, or empower you to do whatever you want. The goal of the Gospel is to rescue you, transform you, and empower you to do whatever God says.

I encourage you to speak out this reality: God, I believe You are greater. Specifically, You are greater than whatever I am worrying about right now. This is the process of resizing worry and replacing it with trust. And if you’re not quite able to declare those words with full conviction, then maybe this is your confession: God, help me have greater faith in You. This is a prayer God loves to hear and loves to come through for.

Jesus wants to reveal His passion for and enjoyment of you. He wants to describe how you have thrilled His heart. The Creator of emotions wants to show His emotions toward you.

Let me say this straight because you already see it happening. When leaders avoid hard conversations, the issues don’t disappear. They just go underground and grow. When the church steps back from shaping culture, it doesn’t create neutrality. It creates a vacuum. And something else will always move in to fill that space. The question isn’t whether culture will be shaped. The question is who’s doing the shaping.

For years I thought I was out of the will of God because I was working in business instead of full time ministry. I was consulting for companies, making great money and solving problems, but in my mind I kept thinking it was a trap because I believed my real calling was preaching. I would pray over the company the way Daniel prayed in Babylon, laying problems before the Lord and asking for solutions, and ideas would come that made the company millions while I kept assuming the promotions were just distractions. Then something started happening that confused me. I would walk through departments and feel the atmosphere. In one area there was lust, in another anger, in another manipulation and intimidation. It troubled me so much that I thought something was wrong with me spiritually, like the environment was contaminating me. Then the Lord corrected me. He said, “What you are experiencing is discerning of the spirits so you can control the atmosphere.” I realized I wasn’t absorbing the problem, I was detecting it. The instruction was simple: when you discern the spirit operating in a place, release the opposite of it and take authority over the atmosphere God has sent you into.

We are living in a day where anyone can make any claim—no matter how outrageous, vile, or slanderous—jump on a podcast, and rack up clicks without a single shred of evidence. And people believe it. Discernment is at an all-time low.

High school classes that Gen X took that no longer exist. I really think they should bring these classes back. We also had a class called Daily Living that taught real-world skills. Too many young adults today don’t know how to do basic things to get by in the world. What classes do you think they should bring back into classrooms today that would help young adults?
