A little moment of dubstep history that I just remembered. I really wanted to work with Foreign Beggars, so my man Skism hooked me up and I connected with them and sent the instrumental for Lines In Wax. At the time the Beggars were in the studio with Noisia and recorded the vocals at their studio in Holland and sent them over to me, alongside the vocal stems they also sent me a tune called 'fm8 test'. It was a demo from an artist that had just been in the studio with Noisia the week before and they thought I'd like it because it was dubstep. Well that was 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' Must have been 2010? I can't really remember.

At coachella i kept seeing all these tiktokers and reality tv stars walking around with bodyguards and it made me realize i have no bodyguards . Can someone be my bodyguard? @Xercodo Oh 100%, I don't think I could ever see myself getting into this game without at least one other experienced person. Not the game's fault, just the downside to trying a 10+ year old live service game for the first time!

@Ch33syCh3ls3a Went to Bass Canyon 2022 without knowing any of the artists. Grew up loving metal/rock. Saw a guy DJing while playing electric guitar live and singing/screaming heavy metal vocals. Heard a song with lyrics that hit close to home, wishing I could sing with the crowd. Sullivan King

@Jealousy_NPC A friend invited me to Bass Canyon ‘22. Knew none of the artists. Had the most fun at Tvboo’s set. Then the next night, I was wishing I could sing along to “Someone Else” at Sullivan King’s set. Lyrics hit hard. I abandoned my dream of video game design for chasing music.
