The most untranslatable joke I've translated: 🇪🇸 "Monja, monja, monja, monja… jamón." 🇺🇸 "Nun, nun, nun, nun… ham." In this @NetflixES show, Mago Pop asks a nun to repeat the word "monja" (nun) until she says "jamón" (ham) and he pulls a leg of Spanish ham out of a tiny bag.

Coven of Sisters (Akelarre) aired with my English subtitles in 2021 on @NetflixES. This period film takes place in the Basque Country of Spain in 1609 amid the Spanish Inquisition. Favorite line to translate: 🇪🇸"Era una noche profunda." 🇺🇸"It was the darkest of nights."

The first movie I subtitled debuted in 2021 on @NetflixES. This rom-com tells the story of Adri, a man who decides to become a patient at the psychiatric center where Carla, the woman he fell in love with during a wild night out, resides. Title: Loca por ella / Crazy About Her
