This is very illustrative of just how much the world hates women.

I learnt of Seymour during my Reading Chile Project. Kornbluh’s The Pinochet File cites him extensively, which introduced me to his reporting & his book The Price of Power. I hope this documentary will introduce more people to his work and the heinous crimes of the US.

Anyway, any glimmer of good that used to come off of using this godforsaken app has long been overshadowed by its evils. Deep evils

@her_eloquence Attention is cultivated and built, like any other form of stamina. Focus on the thing you’re focusing on, eliminate distractions, read books you enjoy, make yourself read for the designated period you intended etc., it’ll grow over time if you’re conscious of it.

If you’re a reader and you have a short attention span, I’m genuinely curious, how do you manage to focus on finishing a book?

The way liberals talk about USAID is revealing..it’s just assumed the global south has no adaptive capacity, no regional cooperation or survival strategies..dependency is just natural rather than produced by aid regimes themselves. It’s no shock those who parrot USAID apocalyptic projections like Hillary Clinton are the same ones to deny deliberate famine conditions in Gaza under Israel’s siege..it’s about US soft pwr, not neutral humanitarianism.

Making time to hating on people for their hobbies is such loser behavior
