I had to explain to a friend, the core difference between Star Trek and Star Wars. While over simplified when confronted with a problem Star Wars characters shoot their way out of the situation while Star Trek Characters think their way out of the problem. Star Trek also is Earth based and this is more tied to our reality. Thoughts?
