Bruce Springsteen on Trump: “I couldn't care less what he thinks about me. He's the living personification of what the 25th Amendment and impeachment were for. If Congress had any guts, he'd be consigned to the trash heap of history."

Oh. My. Fucking. God.
"While Gabbard was testifying, a quiet but significant move was made at Voice of America, the U.S. government’s international broadcasting service.
In an unsigned memo circulated Wednesday, a former Fox News executive producer and Newsmax news director named Christopher Wallace was named deputy director of VOA. It was not immediately clear who authorized the appointment or signed off on it.
The move comes days after a federal judge ordered the reinstatement of more than 1,000 VOA employees who had been placed on paid administrative leave after former acting agency head Kari Lake attempted to fire them at Trump’s direction. The judge ruled Lake’s tenure was illegal because her appointment was never confirmed by the Senate, and he was pointed in his criticism of her conduct.
Wallace spent more than 14 years at Fox News before becoming Newsmax’s vice president for news and news director. He left Newsmax last October. VOA’s stated mission is to deliver independent, accurate journalism to audiences living under oppressive regimes around the world.
Installing a former Newsmax executive to lead that operation, in the middle of a war the administration is actively trying to control the narrative around, is not a small thing. This is the U.S. government’s international news voice, and it is now being handed to someone whose recent career was built at two of the most aggressively pro-Trump media outlets in the country.
This is the MAGA takeover of American airwaves happening in real time. And as you will see in the next story, VOA is only the beginning."

We are now forced to close intake and not help anymore cats until we find homes for the adoptable cats in our care. We literally have no more space and I'm having to say no to cats who will die without us.
all these kittens are still here.
Please share.

🚨 SF BAY AREA it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔

🚨BREAKING: Armed suspected ICE agents are now grabbing young women outside college fraternities…
Yesterday, a young woman was surrounded by armed men and taken, outside a fraternity house, at the University of Washington…
And we need to stop pretending this is normal.
Armed men grabbing a woman in public, and refusing to identify themselves, is exactly what we teach women to fear… and now the government is normalizing that, and calling it “law enforcement.”
And this doesn’t just affect one person… it lowers the safety of every woman, on every campus.
Because now, there’s no clear line between law enforcement and a predator.
If unidentified men can take a woman from a dorm, a campus, a fraternity… then any man can pretend to be ICE and do the same thing, and that confusion is exactly what predators rely on.
But, it gets worse…
ICE has a pattern of detaining people they shouldn’t, then releasing them without belongings, without support, sometimes far from where they were taken…
Now, apply that to a college student… away from family, in an unfamiliar place, suddenly without a phone, ID, or any way to get home.
ICE agents are illegally taking whoever they can… and every time people excuse it, the line moves further.
Because the second a country normalizes masked armed men grabbing any women in public, especially college students, and refusing to identify themselves…
That’s not only NOT public safety… it’s actively putting every woman at risk.

Gold Star wife here.
My husband didn’t die for Israel. He died because this war has been targeting Americans for decades. Long before most people ever started paying attention.
We didn’t suddenly stumble into this because of Israel. Our service members have been in the crosshairs of Iranian-backed terror networks for years. That’s the reality families like mine have lived with.
So spare me the talking point that this is “Israel’s war.”
Some of us have already paid for it in American blood.

@joekent16jan19 This is the most important part. Like we have said before, this war is for Israel, not America. Troops have lost their lives for no reason. This whole Islam, terrosit , nuke we have been hearing the same thing for over 20 years. Wake up, people.

I certainly thought it would take a lot longer than 2 hours 56 mins to reach a verdict in this case. You just can't predict a jury. #KouriRichins
