Total area that these houses occupy only in Islamabad is approximately 1325 acres. The monetization cost for employees that are currently allotted houses is Minimum RS 7.9 billion to 27 billion Maximum. However, the total cost of monetizing all the federal government employees will be between RS 135 to 741 billion annually at market-based rent.
