The issue with the SGR is that it isn't a HSR. It's super slow for the masses to accept such high ticket prices. If I'm going to spend 6hrs on rail till Mombasa what's differentiating it from road that's way cheaper and it gets me to the CDB.

Kileleshwa, Hurlingham, Lavington, Kilimani, Lang'ata. These were once prized places to live and raise families but the government decided to forgo zoning laws and now these places look bad and are deteriorating so rapidly. Total loss of prestige.

More and more places like Tatu and Northlands will spring up because the government is truly incompetent and cannot do the basic things. These places will try to isolate themselves from county infrastructure as much as possible by building their own redundancies.
