@noneofyuh @justalexoki Unfortunately allergies don’t follow the rules. We can develop an allergy randomly as you stated. Our bodies can just suddenly decide they don’t want to tolerate something anymore😭

so this is a perfect example of how two different mediums can’t be translated 1:1. if he saw a window in the book it would be very boring and not suspenseful. and we can’t hear the thoughts in his head when we watch the film, plus the score allows for it to be a big moment.
