I’ve just read some research on the associations between menopausal symptoms and work ability and these are the key findings. As around 80% of women experience menopausal symptoms, it does not take much to realise why so few women are in top jobs. 10% of women actually give up work due to their menopausal symptoms - this number would be much less if more women were offered evidence based treatment for their perimenopause and menopause.
