In a way I can't decide between Wano, Egghead and Elbaph
Wano: foundational shift for one piece anime and a gorgeous episode
Egghead: Best content and incredibly well produced
Elbaph: the best in a technical aspect especially animation wise
WCI episode was fun, but it's not in the competition at all imo

The same people who tell you one piece remake is pointless are the ones who EVERY week whine about one piece clips being slow paced, or sound effects and will tell you 100 times "I'll never watch an anime with that many episodes"
And they go around and wish for a remake for something like Tokyo ghoul and other series.
I personally love the original anime, but why say no to a new interpretation that will take full advantage of its timing? One that will elevate many things?

@_Insidiosity_ @PART7Confirmed it’s not an exaggeration, some of today’s productions struggle to complete a 12 episode cour in time due to shortage of staff & a bad scheduling, expecting a studio to produce 38 episode of a demanding show with higher quality is impossible nowadays.

@PokemanZ0N6 they love to talk about how “unfaithful” toei is to the manga yet when it comes to this topic they go back to toei’s “unfaithful” colours.

I'm not a fan of the pale anime colours either, but can larpers understand that the remake wants to be 100% faithful to the manga?
And this is how oda Colors Usopp btw, only pre ts one piece ANIME gave him remotely dark skin because of the old color designer (who also gave robin dark skin because of lack of coloured source material)
Also, the sheets aren't the final color they'll go through different departments for final look

People are gonna say it's a cope, but i legit think they only gave us this because it's happening soon, same goes with live action
both will most likely air in 2027. the WIT piece trailer will probably be in the middle or at the end of this year in my opinion

@Hatchofly_ While i agree Netflix is doing a pretty bad job at marketing the remake, I think it’s a good thing for the staff to take their time at the start of this project to set a strong foundation for the future of the remake.
