As the bus carrying Iran’s women’s football team was leaving the stadium, the situation suddenly took a dramatic turn when from inside the bus the players began signaling “Help” in sign language. This all started when they refused to sign the national anthem in their first game which prompted the regime to go on national TV the very next day and promise a “sever punishment” once they return, calling them “unforgivable wartime traitors” Iranians quickly rushed to close the road and stop the bus from departing but the Australian security guards stepped in and forced us not to intervene.
