The Invite is one of the funniest movies of the year, with an unexpected well of emotion to pull from. The arguments feel real and there’s a well sex positive vibe at play, despite the jokes. Penélope Cruz, Edward Norton, Seth Rogen, and Olivia Wilde are terrific. Top notch.

The Invite is incredible, like if Seth Rogen gave the most uncomfortably relatable performance of his life in a peak Mike Nichols movie. So fucking funny, Olivia Wilde directs the shit out of it, divorce rates are about to spike along the coasts. Ed Norton should play Larry Bird.
