Can anyone with a chosen name relate? Chosen names come for many reasons—gender, starting over, distance, preference. When I embraced mine socially, it felt like I left my birth name, and an entire identity, behind professionally.

Having a chronic illness makes me feel so dysphoric at times because most things across social media refers to chronic illness “girlies” or “baddies.” What about the chronic illness nonbinary folks? 🤣
