RELEASE THIAGO AND SAIF NOW! We demand that all governments do all they can to pressure the Israeli regime to release all the illegal abductees. The remaining captive participants were released in Crete except Thiago and Saif.

A new morning brings with it so much pain and worry about our unborn child. We haven't been able to provide for his basic needs. Please help this child. He came into this world with his necessities; give him the right to live like other children. chuffed.org/project/172232

It’s 2 years since 12 year-old Black boy Daniel Anjorin was murdered by a White man with a sword. And the sick racist coverage. Daniel was labelled “sword lad” and his killer a “mystic”. I wrote about it here. Anti Black racism is so normalised, accepted and even encouraged in our media. Rest in peace Daniel #DanielAnjorin voice-online.co.uk/opinion/commen…

The Police Regulations 2003 make it clear that a member of the police force shall not take any active part in politics. This brazenly partisan political intervention a week before an election in London is a clear breach of this duty to be neutral and impartial.

It’s been so long since I’ve had stability in my campaign. No matter how hard I try, the campaign never gets the support i need. I feel like I’m slowly vanishing… fading away in silence, day by day. We still don’t have gas for cooking. Food is always running low. And every week, I lie awake worrying about my mother’s medicine — the one thing keeping her stable. I’m trying to stay strong for her, but my heart is breaking. Can anyone hear me? Please… we need any help. And i am truly thankful for those who do help. Any kindness, no matter how small, would mean the world to us right now. chuffed.org/project/gazama…

Starmer's already made uttering the phrase "I support Palestine Action" punishable by up to 14 years in prison Then he banned "repeat protests" Now he wants to prosecute anyone saying "globalise the intifada" He is most authoritarian PM since WW2. Our freedoms are evaporating
Saul Staniforth@SaulStaniforth

Keir Starmer targets the pro Palestinian marches, declaring that people who use the phrase 'globalise the intifada' are calling for terrorism & should be prosecuted. Starmer is attacking people who oppose the complicity of his govt in Israels genocide. Its that simple

The Metropolitan Police denouncing a party leader a week before elections - over a retweet. This is outrageous. Forget what you think about the retweet. If you accept this sort of police interference in our democracy, you legitimise a deeply disturbing precedent.

“Apprehending violent and dangerous criminals is a full contact and messy task which may appear shocking to observers with little experience of policing in the real world.” Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley writes to Zack Polanski.

Today is my birthday 24. And I find myself thinking about how birthdays used to feel different. They once meant cake, laughter, friends, and quiet wishes for the future. Today, my birthday feels completely different. I am celebrating it in the middle of a war that tried to erase everything I loved. A war that took our home, our safety, our peace, and the ordinary life we once believed would always be there. There were moments when I truly thought I would not survive to see this day. Moments when death felt closer than tomorrow. Moments when hope felt very far away. But somehow… I am still here. And one of the biggest reasons I am still standing today is you. People I once did not know, from different countries, languages, and religions, became part of my life in its most painful chapter. You helped me protect my family. You helped us find shelter. You helped us survive days that felt almost impossible to survive. But more than financial support… you gave me something far more powerful: the feeling that we were not alone. You reminded me that humanity still exists. That kindness can cross every border. And that even in the darkest times, light can still reach us through people with beautiful hearts. On my birthday, I am not wishing for gifts. I am simply thanking God that my family is still alive. And thanking all of you for being part of this miracle. You did not just support me… you became part of my story. And I will carry this gratitude with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for keeping me alive long enough to see another birthday. Thank you for helping me believe that better days may still come. This birthday is not a celebration of getting older… it is a celebration of survival.

The audience gave Leo, an Iranian Red Crescent rescue dog, a silent standing ovation to keep him calm. A beautiful and somber moment of gratitude for a hero pulling survivors from the rubble of US and Israeli strikes.

My fellow Green MPs and I have written to the Foreign Secretary expressing our grave concern at the dismantling of structures needed to monitor and respond to possible violations of international law in the Middle East. This decision must be reversed.

Less than 5% of Gaza's cropland remains available for cultivation, according to the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Recently, our team carried out a cucumber distribution initiative to help families access one of the few remaining sources of fresh produce.
