it surprises me how highly people talk of me here. it’s always been weird because basically everyone i meet talks of me very highly but my grandparents think i’m the worst person in the world. it makes me scared to show too much in case people “figure me out” and hate me.

@sakrifije I also think it is just a waste, when you could make so many beautiful and useful things out of their bones and fur and leather..it’s so unfortunate how much we waste in this world

@adornedcorpse thats the most respectable part to me!! i feel like many people assume those with these types of hobbies only do it out of pure morbidity, just to be edgy . but its clear to me you guys see the beauty in decay and appreciate dead little creatures like no one else can

@sakrifije and you change the water every few weeks or so depending on what method you’re going for, and how much they need for the degreasing stage to be complete, and then you can whiten the bones either naturally via sun or using chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide which is much faster!
